Important change regarding dog sales....

Effective immediately, retail dog sales (including breeders) are prohibited. Adoption is permissible but adoption fees should not exceed $100.00, and must be local.

KYS recognizes the need to charge reasonable adoption fees for dogs to help ensure a good home. Adoption fees are fine, but must be openly stated.

Why? Illegitimate breeders and scammers have targetted KYS for their use - which is harmful to the KYS family.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It was not an easy decision, but this is best for the community.
